Communities that Work member Peabody has published the Peabody Community Foundation annual report and accounts for 2019.
This year, Peabody has invested over £7 million in supporting communities through the Foundation and helped over 1,200 people into employment while delivering 77,500 hours of community activities.
The Foundation has welcomed around 2,400 young people to youth programmes and supported a further 42 grassroots community groups across London.
Looking at the future, the organisation is set to focus on developing local strategies with residents, working with stakeholders such as local authorities, the voluntary sector and corporate partners, with an aim to strengthen their impact.
