Don’t miss our members’ webinar on Jobs Plus on 29 June 2020

Economic recovery, housing & work: Jobs Plus & CV-19 – Monday 29 June, 2-3.30pm (Members Only)

We’re excited to announce this special event for members about a ground-breaking programme – Jobs Plus.

Jobs Plus is a US-inspired programme, which several Communities that Work members helped to pilot in the UK. This pilot was  delivered in a partnership between Communities that Work, the Learning and Work Institute, the US based research centre MDRC, and a coalition of 16 housing providers.

This webinar for members will provide an update on this practical, housing-led employment initiative, which the DWP have indicated it will soon support.

The session will bring together Lynsey Sweeney and Stephen Evans of the Learning and Work Institute, with Jim Riccio from MDRC in New York City – the original architect of Jobs Plus.  After a brief recap of the model, the panel will update you on the state of play for Jobs Plus commissioning and what steps members need to take now to make Jobs Plus a reality in our communities.

Register in advance here for this event.
