Award winning association Affinity Sutton joins Communities that Work

Established in 1900, Affinity Sutton have more than 57,000 homes and 161,000 residents.

They run an award-winning programme to help residents find work called Ready2Work and have helped 881 people find a job and created 200 work placements, from a dedicated employment support service to helping people start their own businesses with specialist help.

In 2014 they were awarded Gold for the Affordable Housing Provider of the Year in the What House Awards (as well as many others).

Kate Shone, Communities that Work Chair said, “Welcoming Affinity Sutton onboard is a pleasure. Their achievements with the Ready2Work scheme are testament to their passion to support more people find work, training and the right skills to help change lives and create positives futures.”

Affinity Sutton work with 120 local authorities across the UK with their first homes being built in Bethnal Green in 1909.
