New year – new changes

The recent government reshuffle that took place last week sees a raft of new, and not so new, faces filling the housing and employment space.

Rt Hon Esther McVey, MP for Tatton, becomes new Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, replacing Rt Hon David Gauke who makes his move to Justice Secretary.

Former Housing Minister, Alok Sharma, MP for Reading West, moves over to become the new Minister of State for Employment, replacing Damian Hinds who moves to Education Secretary.

Communities that Work is looking forward to welcoming the new ministers into their roles, and working with them over the coming months ahead.
